Bare body....

Well... I just finished getting a body ready and measured the final weight before wheels, axles or weights. Maybe one of my lightest ones yet... she weighed in at 15 grams. Balsa sure makes things light. Now if I could only make it fly down the track with a full trunk.

EDIT: I made a mistake in the initial weigh-in of the body, found some debris on the scale. Pre-fender weight is...... 14 grams and not 15g. Oops!

Do you have fenders on the car and it weighs 15 grams?

Add about 3 grams for fenders, based on the raw weight of the fenders before installation. So it may be a bit lighter than stated after installation. I'll update after getting them installed.

Milo my street stock weighs 19 grams with 4 fenders .. It will be running this month. It has 25 pieces of tungsten and some putty.. Far as speed well setting the track up in a few. I still have 6 cars to put together.

Dang 25 cubes! Man... I hope I have at least that many to finish this build. Time to salvage some weight, too late to order.

Post fender installation update; Fenders installed and shaped, body weight is now 16g. (see edit in original post I had an error on initial weigh-in)
