"NO FENDERS, AERODYNAMIC MODIFICATIONS, WEIGHTS OR DECORATIONS ALLOWED MOUNTED IN ANY FASHION TO SEAT IN FRONT OF OR BEHIND THE WHEELS OR ANYWHERE ON THE SIDE BETWEEN THE FRONT AND REAR WHEEL."

Are wheel weight allowed? The above says nothing can be mounted "between" the front and rear wheel. When I read the statement, I assume it implies the outer edge of the front wheel and the outer edge of the rear wheel. It does not specify anything about inside the front or rear wheel.

I have an older BASX car that ran so-so, but with BASX Pro wheels, it runs much better.

Thanks Troy -

Fare thee well, White Knight. Thoust has ranneth good for me, but yee wheel weights has doomed thee, forevermore.

If this is the case, then the rule need to be updated to say "or inside the wheel" or changed to say "nothing at all attached to the side of the car aside from the wheels and axles". As I read it now, like B Regal, I'd say that wheel weights and GX Air Deflectors were legal.

This is also stated:

ONLY THE WHEELS AND AXLE CAN BE INSTALLED ON THE SIDES OF THE BODY OF THE CAR. Nothing can be installed on top or bottom of the car that would cover wheel openings. Both inner and outer of the wheel must be visible at all times with nothing obstructing the view.

This pretty much sums it up

This is how the rules read.
NO FENDERS, AERODYNAMIC MODIFICATIONS, you may use washers or body side plates as long as height or diam. is less than the size of the center hub diam.
The most up to date is on the board. www.npwdrl.boards.net Soon there will just be one site. www.npwdrl.com will link to the board.
