It's slower than Jig and because it's slower I couldn't tell you how long it lasts.
I cannot argue this, but at the scout level and in the interest of safety, Amsoil should work for what it's worth. Jig can always be mentioned, but give notice that it has a detrimental effect on the wheels, if not applied correctly. Proceed at your own risk.

By slow do you mean .02 slower than the fastest SS time at the moment?(2.9226)((dang, that's fast-congrats Bullet!!))

If Kinsers test results are also roughly .02 slower, I think it's safe to say Mo-Deck is a bust for big dog style racing but still fast enough for a local race unless da jig is in da house.

If I remember correct, Corvids fastest pass on Mo-deck was 2.96x so if you got 2.94x out of it I'm sure that'll make him happy that more speed was to be had had he kept on that path.

I've used Amsoil silicone spray on all things metal, rubber and plastic since it came out many years ago. Never had an issue with it eating at anything. It does not dry like the 3M Dry-Type silicone that we use for our axles. I thought the premise behind spraying the axles was that it dries and gives the oil something to slide over. If it stays wet, doesn't it negate the benefits?

Mine dried but I put it on thin. IDK

I'm sure that's my problem because my philosophy has always been more is betterer. Is it best to spray it onto a cloth and wipe it on that way? It worked well for cleaning the excess graphite off of our older derby cars.
