Can anyone tell me how wide the nose of the car has to be to reliably actuate the end of run timer? I assume that if it is too narrow it might not trigger the timer.

If I recall correctly I believe the sensor body is about 3/8" in diameter. The sensor projects through a hole in the body of about 3/16" which all resides in the middle of the lane. I would venture a guess to say the car would have to be at least 3/8" wide to address any side to side movement. Anyone else with a more accurate dimension?
