I always thought everyone just used Windex or alcohol. That's what we've done in the past on our track but this year it will be especially hard to clean after being used outside at a real drag strip leaving it covered in debris from the dragstrip. Good to know.
You guys should have cleaned that track right afterwards. All of the rubber and petroleum from those cars will increase the chance of corrosion. Take if from a guy who has worked with a lot of aluminum on aircraft. The first thing you want to look for is just normal surface corrosion (pitting).
