After a promising league debut last month with a 2.9960 average hopes were high at the Garagemahal of better things to come. But keeping their cards close to their vest, very few knew the true extent of damage from the workbench nose dive disaster.
Last Saturday Billy was literally holding The Intimadator’s entire rear clip in one hand and the rear axles forward in the other. Too much to overcome to run a sub 3 as noticed by it's 3.0169 best at the Nationals. You can never misunderestimate the Flyin' Aces work ethic but even after a 3 day/night workbench binge the little AWANA car that couldn’t really can’t any longer so it’s time to fold em.
Shadow Box assembly on Sunday then Intimadator 2, a true BASX build on the bench Monday morning.
A little misty eyed from losing a nice little over achiever but we’ll see y’all on the hill cuz we're Doin' It for Dale......RRR
