Do Not Try At Home, especially @ 2AM. There's nothing like the smell of a flush broken toothpick in DFW hole the morning.
Attempted methods of removal:
Regular Pliers...Notta
Needle nose...Notta
Aerosol ACME broken toothpick remover...Notta....Meep Meep
Most Illogical human !! Use Vulcan method......V
Center punch with large sewing needle and light weight tack hammer.
Insert #43 shank in opposing hole. Carefully slide jig (if you’re type of jig allows) in place using the 43 as a guide.
Use another 43 to perfectly align jig with traumatized hole and clamp in place using your chosen method.
With a pin vise use smallest bit in your arsenal slowly working upward
to another 43.
Results:
Axle fits perfectly snug and is squared with the world (as much as the naked eye can see)
