In this game Billy's playin' The Dozens Wheel Gap Style. With the argument raging concerning Gap, Billy's heard all the arguments mostly of the 10 to 15 thousands variety. So what's a Red Neck to do ? Right or wrong Billy split it right down the middle @ 12.5 or a dozen and a half.
Starting with the standard credit card cut a piece about 3/4" wide, trim a slot about 5/8" long and wide enough to fit over an axle. On a flat surface , ALWAYS using a sanding block, begin with coarse grit sanding cross wise about 7/8" of the gapped end until you've closely reached your desired thickness. Measuring with a caliper or micrometer slightly before your targeted thickness switch over to 1500 and wet with some Dawn soapy water for a smooth slick finish. Wrap the "handle" part with thick tape and use a Sharpie etc. to write the thickness to remove any doubt of what gap gage your using.
Now.... Yo gap's so tight one of Yo Mommas blonde hairs with the black roots won't thru it !!
