Black lane problems?

My BASX was 0.0016 slower in Black. Just for a comparison. I think I may have had just a tad too much steer for my numbers to be relevant. My DFW was right.

That is usually within the standard deviation. My SS cars for the last 2 years have had a standard deviation between .0015-.0025 if no wiggles occur. Those numbers show how smooth and nice the NPWDRL track is.
This time it was .0067 and that's only because of the black lane run. I've always thought it would be interesting to get the numbers together to see if the right hand or the left hand steer cars are faster overall.

In browsing the individual car results list, it appears most cars had their slower runs in the middle lanes (black and white) as would be expected. Some were slowest in black others in white. Rocketcar: seems you just had a particularly bad run that happened to be in the black lane. Maybe just coincided with a bad staging of the car and catching some 'bad air' off the cars in adjacent lanes.

I, on the other hand had the opposite problem. My first run of the day (also SS car) was in the Black lane, and it seemed to be pretty decent. Having already heard the chatter from those running the race that Black lane was running slow, I felt pretty good. BUT imagine my disappointment when my car proceeded to run SLOWER in Blue lane then even slower in White, followed by a decent run in Red. Overall, had a respectable SD of 0.0020

you are gonna lose 4 to 7 001 in the middle lanes and then it depends on the car you are next to..if the wiggles you will lose lot more

My BASX was only .002 slower in black than in white and .004 slower than in blue and red. Sorry Rocket for the bad run in black.
