Box Stock Class ...

Hi Everyone ... I've frequented this site for a few years and greatly appreciate all the knowledge the experts share ... I've learned a great deal and have worked with my sons and other Dads to apply what all of you try to impart to us novices. This year my Tiger rank scout had the fastest car of all the ranks in his pack and also came in second in his rank at Districts. He would have come in first at Districts but I advised him to do some extra polishing and the car was slower as a result. Ugh!!! We are thinking of sending a car in for the box stock class in April but have a few questions that I did not see discussed in the rules. Do we have to use the stock 4 3/8 wheel base? Do we have to have four wheels touching? Do we have to have axle slots or can we just drill the holes?

You can use whatever wheel base you want, don't need to use the slots. Of course the wheels cannot extend beyond the body of the car in either direction. No requirement for 4 wheels touching.
