If we are going to do a fastest time guess you gotta pick one time. I think I will go with a 2.986. This is a completely in the dark guess, never seem them run before. However the short WB cars that scouts build are dog slow most don't even make it all the way down the track.
hmmm

WOW! Looks Great. Mine is still in block form...and I am shooting for a 4 second car...
lol
. No really!!!

My sister in-law just sent me the lay out for the Save the Tata's wrap and man it looks sweet!!
cool
Can't wait to get a block drilled and this thing built!

4 inches of pain is almost done!! I should have the wrap today, get it on and cleared and than time for tune! These are cool little cars so funny looking next to a regular sized car. I hope to have pictures for ya all tomorrow night!

I have been working on my "4 inches of pain" and they are indeed kind of funny looking. It just does not seem right... I guess that is part of the fun. My wife thinks the little car is "cute". I will be painting tonight and will try to post a picture of my car in the next few days. I left plenty of room underneath for weight adjustment when it comes time for tuning. If I am lucky I will be tuning in my basement for this one. I received my timer and the track is getting close. /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif It should be a good way to break in the new track. From what I have read, if I can tune this car, future ones will be a breeze.
I am also excited to see these cars race. It will be some good entertainment with a great cause.

The wrap didn't show up today!!

From the sounds of it I guess I will have to call mine "Shake and Bake" or maybe "Jiggly".

I finally had time to finish mine today, get it on the track and get it shipped. It actually was a lot of fun and I wouldn't mind doing it again. This was the first oil lubed, full size wheel car I have built since 2010 ! Thanks much to Zeebzob for cutting the 2g wheels for me and, as usual, use of his track !! And thanks to a few other regulars here whom I chatted with about COM, etc., for these weird little cars. And of course thanks to my wife and daughter for painting it !!!!

What NO pictures??? C'mon Quadad that aint right???

Yeah it's pink !!! Don't expect Chief-class painting or 5K-speed, but here is the only shot I have (in process, prior to wheels and 5K fenders).

Right on Quadad! Looks great! I am supper glad people are getting behind this. We defenitly need to race these things a little more.

I agree, it was realy fun ! I think part of it was not having any idea what it would be like. Also strange for me was the fact that this was the first big wheel, oil lubed car I have worked on since 2010 !

Awesome car Qaudad!! I think this is the kind of stuff that makes it more interesting...building something completely new and different.. I can not wait to see how these little cars travel down the track... I feel like a little cub scout all over again!!!
