BSA Razor Wheels

These wheels are so much work! Holy cow! I had fun I think I'll join you guys in the race. Here are my wheels I cut for the BSA razer class

Those look pretty sharp. Have you joined the ranks of the PWD lathe-users?

Those look great Mike, nice job. I agree with you that they are a pain to make. once I figured out the limits of the wheel they weren't so bad.
I spent some time polishing the bores on mine and one of them is pretty bad. Don't think I'm going to turn another but I know it'll cost some speed. Laziness my down fall!

Man this car is slow. I don't think it could win the SP class. I'll be donating my $10 to someone cause mine SUCKS!!!

Any theories on the source of slow-ness?

My car Trunk Sloth V2 is coming along nicely, but it will be going to the race just run on the tuning table and no track time. I'm going to take a guess at the amount of steer to use and then send it.

This might be my one shot at beating Quicktime!

I wish I knew. I made them out of China BSA wheels and they have a more prominent mold tapper on the inner bore, the wheel not even being close to centered on the hub could be causing issue also. If i ever make another set I have a few ideas of things I would change. For now I'll just live with it.

OK guys, as far as I know, our race of running Eliminators with BSA Razor Wheels is still on unless John says otherwise. Mister B, Quicktime, Bulldog, Blewbyu, OPA and Cycrunner has expressed interest in racing. I am not sure who will end up sending cars though. Losers pay the winner $10. We can do payment on the honor system and after the race we each PayPal $10 to the winner. Or you can PayPal me the money and I will get it to the winner.

Just remember you need to pay the entry fee to John and also note on your entry sheet to run your car in the Eliminator with BSA Razor Wheels race.

Yes Bulldog you can race! Sure you can make a trophy for the winner in place of paying the winner $10.

OK everyone, do you have your Eliminator cars with BSA Razor Wheels ready to race? I just need to put the wheels on mine and run it down my tuning board. I will post a picture of my car with some surprise cutting edge additions soon!

I just put the wheels on my car this afternoon. Tuning board tonight and packaged to mail Tuesday morning.

Brazor is good name! But put Bull in front of it... Bull Brazor...

It was interesting to watch Eliminators race with BSA razor wheels. I think my car has more speed in it, with a little bit more steer to take the wiggles out of it.

Looks like I owe QuickTime $10 for beating me. Bulldog's car was right in the mix also and is going to make QuickTime a trophy for winning.

It was great racing you guys.

It was a fun race. I thought for sure you guys would have me in this race. I guess those wheels are just that slow. We may have to do this again in the future. I think we all can find some more speed in them.
