Ok the SS class is going to be the death of me! Sometimes I can't understand why. The SP class got a good understanding. Eliminator fairly good understanding. Unlimited would have more success if Goat boy wasn't around. Street Rod love the racing, build and class. SS class curse you! I guess you understand how my new builds are going.

THANK GOD!!!!! PROOF THAT THE GUYS AT THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN ARE JUST AS FRUSTRATED WITH THESE DARN CARS AS THE GUY AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HOLE LOOKING UP!!

All Glory is fleeting, all pain is real, and the last man standing pays the bill/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif I have no idea where I heard that, but for someone reason it sounded appropriate.
blah

Mine is unlimited. I have been stuck running the same speed for like two years. No matter what I do or try my cars run the same or slower.

I haven't got to this point yet, but I am still fairly new. I will get there one of these days. Until then, I will continue to build until I run into the brick wall. I tried a SP this time around and was totally surprised by its speed. But that right now is not my main focus, it will be in the SS class. I've had increasing success in the SS class... so far, but the wall is just ahead.

I have a target and I will get there whether it takes a new approach or a revamped car design. I just keep plugging away, so far I know what works for me. When I got my cars back from the past two weeks of racing, out came the measuring tools and I started recording specs. I'll tweak from there and see if I gain speed or not. When all else fails I go back to what I know works and has worked and start anew. I'm at a slight disadvantage though as I have no test track to test upon, I just have to wait for the next event to come around to test my cars.

QT, I think right now you have "writer's block" with that build. Like all great writers do, you too will soon get over the block.

I agree with 5 kids I hate Mod as it use to be called and now eliminator sucks big time for me.

[tr][td]I have never had much luck at Eliminator.... mainly because I don't want to buy wheels and I can get Teflon or Delrin bushings to run with big axles as fast as the top racers. I have thought about it for a few months and I am ready to try something new for Nationals.

Scott, I'm sure you can make wheels better than the ones you can buy!

How sure are you?

I think it is safe to say that BSB has more confidence in me then I do...

Just trying to give the boy some confidence! Now you went and shot him down! Shame, shame!

I have a new one built that is showing some promise, but than again I thought I had something last month! I think some out side the box thinking is going to be needed. Any idea's?
