I also build/re-build AK-47 rifles on another forum.
We plan weekend "Build" parties, where we gather/share tools, ideas, etc.
It's kind of a meet, and greet, and a camping trip rolled into one.
We build AK-47's, but I'm thinking, the same concept can be applied to building Pinewood Derby Cars.
It seems to be- East/ West/ Mid-West, all doing the same thing, but the groups come together, and share the knowledge when we come back to the forum.
Any interest in a "LOCAL" Derby build/party/gathering?
I'm in St. Louis Missouri, and can host a Mid-West Build Party.
