Ive read a few post and watched videos in wich CA glue is used....i get the impression its the same as super glue/krazy glue...is that correct or is it a totally different thing?

Super Glue and Krazy Glue are just name brands of CA glue.
You'll find you can get it in different thicknesses, which work well for different projects. You might try the Stikfast brand, which comes in thin, medium and thick. You can also get accelerator which will speed drying/curing time.

I'm the same as TRE. I get mine at Dollar Tree. $1 a bottle for the original super glue brand in a resealable bottle.
That works too. But I hate waiting for it to dry. And in the world of league racing where every ten thousandths of a second can make the difference winning and losing the weight of the epoxy can maybe play a role. CA glue dries fast, is strong, and is light weight.
Good to know, thanks! Guess I'm hitting the dollar store soon. I suck at using super glue. I end up getting more on me than what I'm trying to glue. But you are right, it takes a long time to cure.
I dont use anything but CA either. Balsa sticks to Pinewood immediately wth CA like when doing fenders. Better have it right where ya want it tho.
Ha ha ha...great! Fenders are precisely what im fiddling with at the moment...never having done them or working much with balsa im guessing it aint gonna be pretty

Yeup, dollar tree and other similar stores. And for those that have a difficult time with it, you can also get it with a brush to spread it around. If you get too much on you or on things you shouldn't have (what happened to you masking tape job?) you can use either acetone or nail polish remover to get it off.
2P-10 for gluing wood together (e.g. fenders, birch ply, etc.). It has a 30 second cure time, so be quick. If you use the activator, the cure time drops to 10 seconds. I regular CA glue, where ever I can get it, for washers, air shields, etc.
I picked up Super Glue and used it last night instead of Epoxy. MUCH faster dry time, and more importantly, I didn't get any on my fingers! Which is why I avoid it. I am extremely messy with it and always end up with it all over me. Less is more, I hope.
Cool thing about Epoxy is when it dries, I've always still been able to turn my axles if needed without the need to apply more. It hold it in tight enough that you can turn them to make adjustments. But it does take much longer to dry and can be messy as well.

Keep lemon juice handy to deactivate ca glue before it sets. Wear vinyl gloes and use a brush.
