Car revival?

So I have a old car that I am working on to revive. It's a build I did awhile ago way before I had any idea of what I was doing. So I redrilled the car with the silver bullet, cleaned the wheels up prepped them for oil, brought the weight up with some tungsten puddy. It seems to be turning out pretty cool. I did find out that the wheels are china made ones, and man do they suck! They do actually feet lighter than the USA wheel, don't know if they are.
So the question is have you revived any old cars? If you have how did they turn out? Mine will hit the track tomorrow at a pack race I am hosting. I will post a picture in a few.

Well I have not been doing this fun and Xciting hobby long enough to revive any of my cars...I do have my old one from when I was a scout but I decided to build an anniversary car instead...that was more fun for me. But as for the cars I have now they are not worth reviving and I am glad they are dead on the shelf...I think they may have gained some speed sitting there

I dont mean to get on my soap box, but I go to Xtremes to not have Anything that is made in china!!! Look at the back side of the wheels and if they dont say "Made in USA" I wont have them. If it comes down to not being able to find any USA made wheels I will get a second job and buy some Goat wheels and join the Unlimited class or I could just not have any wheels at all...My cars would be just as fast (slow) hahaha.

I am not sure on the color thing...if I had to guess, X-team did not join forces, we were actually a team and then split into two sections, and instead of being team 1 and team 2 or A team and B team it was better to be Blue and Red. Much better than Black n Blue haha no body likes getting beat up...it is OK if we become a single color but it would definitely have to be "Royal Purple" haha that way we would be Xtremely super slick

Well after a few times down the track it was not so fast. It would run consistent 3.028's. I guess that's not to terrible but could bee a lot better. It is still a fun car to race against the pack winners and tell them you beat you can have it!!
