OK, QuickTime and ZeebZob, I'm tired of 2nd and 3rd places in Unlimited.
If my calculations on the ratio between John's track and my test track are correct (i.e. ".9912"), you are going to have to top or beat 2.8800 to beat SPYDER. Or 2.8850 to beat my second best car: WASP.
My two cars are hitting those times consistently. And hopefully coming in 3rd place will be MACH II, except I am still working on him. He is currently running 2.8863. But I think I can find another 4 or 5 1000ths before the next race.

I don't know how I missed this post. Well any way, this sounds fun. I messed with mine a little after the race and found a few .00X's it went into the box and hasent been out since. I will say this I don't think besting a .880 will be out of the question. I fact I wouldnt be surprised to see some .875's

I am still at the risk as to whether my ratio to John's track is correct. Once I got Spyder to hit that mark, I boxed it up so I don't touch it again.
Even if you do nothing to last month's car, it's going to be a tough race. Nevertheless, you are in my sights.

Best Regards, (wish I had your lathe, I had to work the outside of my razor wheels with a high speed vertical drill, sand paper, ann #1 DD4H polish). That makes for a challange to not get the wheel out of round or out of balance.

Here's a little food for thought. This was the last run before it was boxed up. It ran a few quicker time in other lanes even with traffic.

I was (1) spot from ELIMINATOR FINALS last month.... well this month I have regrouped...hopefully found 4-6 thousands that should put me up a few positions. But only time will tell with this new prep, polish & set up. I would call you out QT but .... well you know LOL ..

Wow QT! Thats an amazing time, especially in that lane. The red lane is my nemesis.
Personally, I think we have awoken a sleeping giant. GoatBoy has two brand spankin' new unlimiteds he is bring to the Zeebzob Speed Shop this weekend. Not making the finals last month has lit a fire under him that I have not seen in a while. Reminds me of how he was just before he started winning all the time.
I have not touched Heisenberg or Money Maker since the race at Johns, that will give us a good baseline of how Ians cars run. Hopefully they will not be found in the side of 43 Saturday night.
I should have some new wheels for Heisenberg, hope that can give it a little boost.
Last month Money Maker puked in the finals in the red lane, but even if it would have had a good run in that lane, it wouldn't have been enough for QT. Man, the stars were all in place for you that night Joel. I still look at those results and shake my head. Its hard enough to win one class, but to win all of them.......outstanding!

Yea Zeeb I have a feeling OPA should be more worried about IAN. last month there was two classes I wasn't sure about unlimited, and Street rod. I got lucky in both! This months going to be a huge toss up, I'm going to try with what little time I have but I don't think it will be as good as last month, that's for sure!

JBD- Slow your roll! That class is tough enough with ZZ, Spirit, Spacewalker, ect. We don't need anyone else finding speed in that class!

Well it got handed to me again by QT and Zeeb, and again I am in 3rd place.
I said they would have to best 2.8800 to beat me. And they did, at least on several single runs.
Congrats to both QT and Zeeb.
