Our Best Track was on the porch when I came home from work last night.
We went at it like kids on Christmas morning, but can you believe no dowel pins at all in the order???
So I sent a quick email to Steve at BT and finished as much as possible.

On another note my starting gate lever Mod order came in and I can't wait to get it installed with some help from a new friend;)

Just waiting on the New Direction order and the dowel pins.

My first impressions of the track leads me to think of some possible other improvements and wondering if any have been tried or applied by others.

1.I think the track sections need another brace in the middle of the 7 foot sections with leveling feet.

2.Maybe applying some self adhesive foam under the track to dampen the track vibrations.

3.Drilling the L brackets to use thumb screws and wing nuts to fasten the track sections together firmly, instead of the binder clips.

I did mod #1 on your list. I don't know that it's totally necessary but it does make the track more rigid when you're wiping it down. I'd buy stock in Pledge Wipes while you're at it! lol

I didn't put anything under the track for vibration, I know some guys use Dynamat, some guys use Peel & Seal from Lowe's.
