cleaning graphite from wheels

Is there a good way to clean wheels that were run with graphite? I am trying to recycle old wheels.

If your wanting to run oil with these wheels don't waste your time buy new wheels. Oil and graphite don't mix and it is impossible to get all the graphite out.
