Common Ground?

Zeeb Point well taken but a little more effort on both parts wouldn't hurt they are both excellent places to race.

The guys that run the leagues have kids at home. Schedules get prepared in the early months of the year, unfortunately things change over the course of a few months time. Kids have sports, scouts, etc. that need to be attended. I know for a fact John changed race dates because of football and Cash changed dates because of Scouts. I am not sure about Glenn's situation? I guess when the kids leave the nest, then race dates can be held as scheduled........till then, I guess we will all have to put up with dates that change........................................John, how young is your youngest?

I really cant believe this subject is still being discussed ...Still after 4years that I know of for sure but probably much longer if you ask some of the guys thats been around longer

It will always be discussed. They new guys that come in (and we need the new guys!) always start asking the questions of "Why there is so much animosity between the leagues?" "Why can't there at least be communication? "
Those of us that have been around know most, if not all of the stories behind this.
The question that should be asked of the old timers is "Should this be perpetuated?"

Everyone has their own opinions. QT said it best. "Support the crap out of the league you love." And if there is more than one, well, that's just better for the hobby.

I talked to evo one time about the exact same thing ...Conflicting race dates...His answer was basically kiss my axx he wasnt changing his schedule in any way that if any changing was to be done it would be done by john ....So i chalked that up as a lost cause and didnt even bother discussing it with john ....Best thing to do with this thread is to delete the whole thing and never speak of it again cause its a touchy subject or used to be anyway

I think it is a worthy goal and topic, though it should be handled carefully, and with consideration.

It might be a good discussion to "export" to Zeebzob's forum, since there might be better cross-league participation in the discussion that way.

But that was back when there was a bunch of hard feelings floating around between the Kings and I think relations has improved since then...So you never know maybe someday...

You can take it over to my board if you want. I don't think leaving all of the discussion here is in the best interest of the NPWDRL because, as we all have seen (and maybe caused (trying to look innocent)), tempers can flare on touchy subjects. I'm sure its another headache John doesn't need
