Meet Carbon & Carbon Copy my new Street Stockers. Finally had time to finish up my composite carbon fiber/wood laminate bodies and get them painted. Just need to polish the bores on my DD4H wheels and tune for February.

4-3/8" Center to center axle placement / 7/8" from end of body 1-3/4" other end of body.
First time I have ever used over 4 oz. of tungsten, can't wait to set up track later this week and tune.

Should have both Street Stockers ready, I am building a Dodge StreetRod with a composite carbon fiber pan chassis, not sure if it will be finished in time for CFC.

Great looking cars, OG. Is that carbon fiber or is it graphite? From the picture it looks more like graphite than carbonn fiber, but I may be looking at it through my bad eye.

The top side of both cars is Prepreg .014" unidirectional carbon fiber and the bottom is .007" carbon fiber with epoxy resin cured at 250 degrees. It looks like graphite because all fibers run one direction (only need strength frt. to rear of car not side to side). Most carbon fiber that people see is a twill pattern that gives strength in all directions but is heavier.

Are these preformed sheets epoxied on, or is it layed on like fiber glass with resin?
