Well not sure why I always do this. The date is only couple days away and I'm crunched for time getting cars fine, I procastinate way too much, started 6 new builds within last cpl days, prepared 28 wheels last night, axles tonight and hope to finish the bodies tonight too....

You'll get it done, I finished mine early cause I knew what this week was going to be like, plus we just got my daughter a new puppy so that threw everything out the window.

Are you bringing them in person? Shipping overnight?
I live 40 min from venue (lucky me to have such a event so close) but starting tomorrow I'm involved in helping set up for the event itself, so starting tonight my bed time just got pushed back.... So those coming live be ware I won't of had suffecent beauty
eeek
sleep

I sympathize with you derbychip. My son and I finished his car last night and I shipped it out this morning. Overnight shipping charges are ridiculous
dazed
. Based on Greg's comments I probably would have been ok with having it arrive on Thursday but I didn't want to risk it.

I'm kind of glad scout season is just about over.

Still prepping crs here toooo DC, Heck you need no beauty sleep you gonna look like those who are driving up morning of... You can make it DC knuckle down get some energy drinks and hit it hard.....

See you Saturday....
blah

Finishing up my first SR. Its not going be even close to competitive, but I had to build one to learn what's involved. I'd consider it a success if I'm not last. Bringing 10 cars in total, 3 of which are open scout (two of those are graphite - ewe). Should be interesting getting on a plane and having to explain my toy cars...

Are they all in your carry on or in a checked bag? baggage handlers will help you tune all those cars just as good as the USPS.

I hear ya, I stayed up till 2:00 am and not happy!! All my Pro cars seem slow! I wasn't going to run them then I got a little speed out of one so I'll probaby run it. But I have 4 MA cars running good!

Finished re-prepping (wheels and axles) my 6 cars tonight. Talk about cuttin it close. We won't be running in the Nationals, but will be racing in the scout/open races. Good luck to all!

Told ya you would get it done, your family did great, hope you wrote down some of those speed tips for me!!!

I will share everything, as these cars exceded our expectations. We were shooting for finals, that was our goal. We didn't expect to tie for 2nd in kids, and get 3rd in qualified scout! Our scout oil car didn't fair as well missed finals by few thousands. It was built carbon copy to the graphite cars just ran oil.... I suspect the quality build level of cars in that class was stepped up

Looking fwd to next year, only will have my nephew to help with scout cars though, and will again have my youngest boy in the kids as well as I'll have to build a pink one for my daughter too
