Took 5 out the top 8 fastest places with our scout and family cars using DD4H axle and wheel bore polishing supplies and process. Helped our friends boy build his car and he went from last overall last year to pack champion this year. My son was 4th overall and 1st for Webelos I. My daughters car smoked everyone with the fastest heat and overall average! Not quite the plan but a great day for the team.
Now need to figure out why my sons car lost 0.05 seconds of speed after the first heat. It would have been neck and neck for pack champion for these two boys. For the first heat they were 0.0002 seconds apart! They were all running graphite. Either he lost too much graphite or it got knocked out of alignment. We had the wobbles in the 3rd heat so I am guessing alignment.
PS my wife can't believe I am plotting strategy for next year already!
