Just wondering if you are on her on the weekends...I need to buy something from your store..I sent an e mail...

Thanks ..I really had a question about the part before i orderd it..I will just wait and see..

I want to purchase a sugar pine block not cut to 1/2 inch. But leave it the original size.but I want the rears can't driled . And the frontleft just a tad bit higher drilled to make it 3 wheel so i can adjust it to make it almost touch......and I can cut out a car myself.. It needs to have slots also..I need to buy it real soon...

I don't think John has block thicker than the 1/2". You can always glue some balsa wood or pine to the top of the sugar pine block.

Wow..that puts me back to square one...our hearts just sank...I guess we got so excited about all the things we could do to the car we forgot the basics......well does anyone know someone that drills canted rears with slots on a full block??...we are really needing this...

Why do you need the full block? If you have a taller design just build it up with another piece of wood. Cut a 1/2" off your kit block or use some balsa or bass wood. Those are even lighter. You can get small packs at a hobby shop for around $6 or less with a coupon. Only takes a little time between gluing and shaping.

Almost everyone here that races in league can, but as asked above not sure why you'd want that thick of a block to start with....

I didnt mean to be vague......my son is REALLY attached to the car design we started with , just didnt want to try and make another type of car, he wants this particular car and it is a lot thicker than the thinner faster blocks....the original was damaged...

Well the best thing to do if you have a drill press is just buy a block from DD4H so you can drill your own canted wheels. Not sure on the time frame you need. I am not sure though of anywhere to get full blocks of SSG wood, or even uncut SSG.

Thank for the reply, the time frame and rebuilding the car is the time part for us, I volunteer at his school 2 days a week, and at the YMCA as a t-ball coach, and a little league coach, taking them back and forth for track and football, leaves not much time....I will keep trying, thanks again for the response

To second folks here, I don't see how glueing some extra wood to the top of the block is going to be a major time sink. Just take a block from a regular PWD kit, flip it over, sandwich it to the top with some wood glue and clamp it for a few hours. Then cut your design as planned.
