Just wondering if there is a NPWDRL races offered in Georgia? What does it take to to hold this type of event?

I believe that John's vision for the NPWDRL was to have races all across the USA and even Canada. But I think that we have all seen this year with the difficulty's in providing a consistent race area, including location, shipping, and live feed that it is not as easy as originally hoped for. I think that anyone that is even considering hosting a large race needs to go to one live. From the start to the end, unboxing, setup, race, repack, and ship. It is a TON more work than anyone can imagine. Being that this is John's baby and livelihood he feels a huge responsibility to may sure everything goes as smooth as possible, so that every one has a good experience. Because of that I think he feels that he needs to attend all the events in person to help out, however there is just not enough money in this to allow him to do so. Talk about a rock and a hard spot!!

yeah don't think I am quiet ready to host a race just yet. I first have to learn to race with Y'all. I have only raced once in the npwdrl and pretty much got spanked by everyone. I do have a 42ft best track but I have not yet assembled it yet. Looken to get a electronic timer someday. I think I could find space just don't know if I have the time to put into it yet. Maybe after I get a few races under my belt and lean some of the trick of the derby racing world.
I for sure want to build this as big as it will go. Every year it seems we refine it a little more. Proxy racing really makes the entire thing very hard to accomplish.
