I just bought the video and some supplies. Can I get an update to anything in the video that is outdated?

Well I failed to do what I said I was going to do and drill a hole in a block of wood to keep from spilling my oil. This will be the fourth bottle of oil I will have to order in the 8 months I've been racing.

That little bottle sucks. Fortunately I will have just enough to be able to finish my prep for the Jan race.

I have done that myself a few times.
lol

Coming soon to a derby supplier near you

I'm Shure we can put a needle tip on it. And if it does spill a little you'll still have nearly 6 oz left : )

Great! Thanks for checking my order and cofirming I got what I need. Looking forward to building some cars.

OK a few unasked for things to keep you out of trouble. Many of these are plan B after having to refinish the kitchen table once for an alcohol spill that put newsprint into the surface of the varnish. I hid it for a few days- but finally got caught. First is a way to use the shipping box you all get your stuff in. Tape it up and cut an X with a knife where you want to stick a bottle. It will not spill.

I also now put down a plastic garbage bag, then newspaper, then my stuff.

Now, how to keep alcohol from ruining your day. Put what you need in a small glass like a shot glass, and put that inside a bowl big enough to contain it all if it tips over.

Also have an old block of wood with all kinds of holes drilled in it to hold your axles.

I also recommend the Duster if you do not have shop air.

Thats really funny I was trying to read the comics.hahaha Really good tips. I like the box idea and I also used the same box to keep all of DD4H stuff separate in.

A "prep station" is going to have to be designed.
That is a great idea, I thought I was so smart a couple of years ago, as I bought a combination tool/fishing tackle box. I bought it so I could keep all my bag of tricks and tools for PWD together...Problem is I went on the cheap and now the box is to small...
