We already have this problem. There's a very fine line between hobby and neurological disorder. /images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif
So true Kinser...so true. That very same slogan was pointed out to me on a sign at Jimmy Johns by a friend, when I told her about my pinewood "hobby" /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif
Here's the contents of a can of Jig-A-Loo for those who are interested. It appears to be a uniform solution, but there was a decent amount of "dust" or swelled polymer particles in it as well...probably less than 1% by weight. There really isn't a "safe" way to do this at home, unless you have non-sparking tools, so I'd caution anyone against putting a hole in an aerosol can.
I wish I had the time to test some of these axle treatments, since I have 3-4 of my own that I believe would be in the same ballpark.
