So today we had our district finals. Last year, Josh finished about 13th in his age group. This year, using John's oil prep process from the DVD, Blue Thunder and his oil, Joshua finished 2nd overall in Northern CA and Nevada for his age group. He also won first place overall for design and workmanship.

His mom and I are both RR commanders (think scoutmaster/den mother), so we competed as well. All together, our family walked away with one first trophy, one 6th place, a 9th place and a 10th place for design and workmanship; and 2 second place trophies and one 3rd place trophy for racing.

I know I did not do as well with the oil as I could have done, but for my first time with oil, I am not displeased. Thanks to everyone here for your advice, and thanks John for the great products!
