Big thanks for John (DD4H) - after polishing wheel bores and axles using his products, my boys went 1-2 in their pack and each placed 2nd in their age group at Districts.
Our pack track is a well maintained 42'' best track. I was surprised to see the District track was a 30', 30+ year old wood track with a stop section that was basically a combination of a mosh pit/demolition derby. The overall winning time on this track was in the 2.64 range. Any thoughts on how to set up a car differently for a rough wood track as opposed to best track? More steer, maybe?
