Does anyone have any thoughts on the 94x axles?

With wheel bores in the .097"-.098" range, a 94x axle would tighten up the clearance to .003"-.004". Now, would this be better? I don't know yet, I have a set on order. Potentially I could see a benefit, less slop may equal a more true running wheel around the axle. I ordered a set to test this theory out.

I have a set on order as well. I was thinking 94's in the rears and 92's in the front. I was wondering if you would be able to get the bend you would want for the FDW with a 94.

Thanks guys! I don't think that would be a problem. The ease of bending is reliant on the depth of the cut you put in it. /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif

Kinser, I meant the angle of the bend because of the diameter of the axle shaft. Some are bending 6-8 degrees for the FDW.

The ones I got had a pretty good bend. I haven't tested them yet. I'm sending them in on a car for February's race.
