I have made my wheel and axle choice for my eliminator car but it seems like I have read that the bore polishing procedure is different for the thin style wheels, I am just wanting to make sure before I ruin a brand new set of wheels. I may be jumping the gun here, I'm sure they will come with good instuctions like the rest the products I have recieved.

You can't use q tip stalks on the razor wheels the procedure is the same but you will need some scratch proof bore polishers.

Thanks, that is what I suspected. I appreciate the help, I can't wait to get racing.

Hey, I used Q-tips all last year. Howeever, after I chucked the q-tips into my drill, I used wet 1500 sand paper to decrease the diameter as well as putting a point on the end, then I wet the q-tip with polishing compound #1, and thereafter followed normal procedure. I consistently finished in the top 3. IS THERE A BETTER WAY that I am missing?

With the new .084 wheels you can not use the q-tip stalks to polish them I think what QT is saying is to use the no scratch stalks in place of the q-tip stalk for the .084's.
