Encore Race

An encore race would be great as I didn't get see any of them. I see that DerbyDad is the only result shown for the "Snail Class". I submitted "Creepy Crawler" for that class, and wonder if there any other entries? I assume no other car crossed the finish line and were thus disqualified, correct? I am curious as how close to the finish my car came to crossing the line so I can compare it to my wood track which is 39' pin to timer. I was running around 5.0 seconds on my track.
We had 8 entries. We did not use the computer for that race because we did outside lanes double elimination but it is all on video! It was a good race for sure. Look for the videos over the next few days.cycrunner said:
I for one would really appreciate you running this encore race. I know this is a lot of work on your part, but I've a new 35' Best track and would really like to have the times for comparison. 5 Kids, Scott, made me some nice decals to represent this Man of the Mountain race that I wanted to show off. If you decide to not have this race is there anyway you might run my cars, except the Governor car Mini Twister, and send me the results. I guess from here in Texas I'll need to send my cars in on Sat. instead of Monday. We were all warned about the possibility of late shipments, but I thought I had plenty of time. Quicktime's suggestion of not having a race during any holiday period is probably a good one to remember. One other thing I might suggest is not updating the car arrival until the car is actually there on site. Once I saw my cars listed on the update I threw away the tracking number assuming the cars had arrived. You know what they say about assumptions. Thanks again for offering to have this encore race.

Like I said no need to run Mini Twister unless there are others that had a Governor car and you wanted to run them together.
Have all the cars arrived? Per tracking information, my cars have yet to arrive at your location. I would not be able to watch tonight anyhow, we are going to a Christmas concert this evening.
Fellas, the internet was down here until just now. All the cars have not arrived yet. If it is not a major issue I want to give them one more day and we can run the race tomorrow night. I also have no help here and I will have a problem doing it all alone while filming. I apologize for delaying it again.
