Well, I'm very happy with our results, this is our first time Proxy racing, and our first time using DD4H products.
Adam's car finished 6th of 22 in the Scout Open Graphite Division among Wolves, and 33 of 114 Overall.
Originally I built this car before I found DD4H or this forum, and I designed it to run as per our Council rules with axles in axle slots, very basic. A month ago I drilled new axle holes with the Silver Bullet and added DD4H axles and graphite...

Boy was I nervous after the first run, we ran a 2.99, and still came in 6th in the very first heat of the day, I thought we were done for!
After that I realized after a few heats that we must have been in a very fast group in the first heat. Then Adam's car won 3 of his heats and I was feeling a bit better!
Not sure what happened in the 4th heat, Adam's car looks like pulls way ahead at the bottom of the hill like it was stung in the butt by a bee!
The runs seemed very consistent, the first run was the fastest at 2.9957, followed by 2.9989, 3.0106, 3.0192, 3.0172, and our slowest time was the last one, 3.0246
I don't see any bad wiggles in the car, do you? I questioned the staging on the 4th run, but he still ran a decent time.
For next year I need a slimmer and more aero body, fenders on all four wheels, and lighter wheels! And I'll have a second boy racing so that means two cars. Maybe by then I'll know something about Oil, and we can play in that division as well.
I'll be keeping DD4H busy!
Comparing our Council race to this one is tough, it was run on a 49' Best Track, but if I go by scale MPH, our car was running a 200.6 in the council races, and as high as 214.51 in the MA race. Okay, you probably can't really do that, but it seems like a big improvement!
