When you throw a rock into a pack of dogs the only one that yelps is the one that got hit. This racer got hit when the break out rule was lifted in BASX AM after the event was over.
The announcer himself said Team xxxxxx is flirting with the Pros. This wouldn’t happen during the old school days of the 60/70’s m. Where I come from and the crowd I raced against where the days were spent building engines and nights spent in the pits at the drag strip or dirt track. Someone would be totin an easily identifiable good ole fashioned country xxx whoopin.
But this is 2020 and a whole new world. If the new way is to change the rules then sweeten the pot to make up for it so be it. Even an old dog can learn.
Having said that I feel an apology is in order from me to John Halliburton and D&C Racing. To prove my seriousness if somehow, someway I manage to breakout i’ll gladly request that I be bumped up to the Pro’s and be tickled to death to compete with those guys. It’ll just make me better. IT IS FINISHED !!
