Ok i'm certainly no Einstein , but i do know if you pick a number, double it, add 6, then divide by 2, take away the number you started with and your answer is 3. But I'm banging my head against the wall trying to wrap my mind around this one. Using AWANA axles but my shaky hands simply won't allow me to use a file to cone under the axle head properly so i leave that step alone and just smooth the under head area with 2000 sandpaper and then polish with Monkey Jam. But what i can do is reduce the OD of the axle head with a file then sand and polish out the file marks. My conundrum is this. Would it be better to leave the axle head OD alone leaving a larger lubed area between the head and wheel bore outer face or reduce the axle head OD and have a smaller lubed friction area. I'm sure there's a friction coefficient value difference between the two but refer to the opening 6 words of this post. Just popped 2 more Excendrin's !! Anybody wanna tackle this one ?
