I have 2 cars. One has FDW on left side and car steers to the right like it should. 2nd has FDW on right side and car steers to the right. Anybody know why that would do that on the second one. Only thing I can think of is I got too much of a bend on the steering axle. Attached are pictures for your reference. Pink car is one in question. A couple of other notes, I can get it to steer to the left if I change the steer wheel so bend is facing 12 O'Clock. However, that makes the wheel riding incorrectly. If I also move the wheel to the left side then it causes the 4th wheel to touch. Any suggestions on what to do! Right now the only thing I can think of is move wheel to the left side and create a bend on the 4th wheel on the right side so it doesn't touch. Thanks!

I guess the more I think about it, the steer wheel bend should be facing at 12 O Clock because it is on the right side. I guess I am having troubles because that looks weird and has the wheel inverted basically from the other one. Sorry, guys trying to learn and understand the bending process and steering process, vs, drilling in the steer process like I did last year.

No matter what side the steering wheel is on the bend on the axle should be down, the wheel will ride against the body. Turn the axle slightly forward or backwards to get the steer you want... the more the axle is bent, the more touchy the steer will be.... I am not understanding the 12 oclock terminology, but you should be able to steer the pink car correctly to the left with a bent axle.... make sure to steer the car around 4" in 4 ft.

5 Kids thanks for the reply. Quick explanation of what I mean by 12 O Clock. If I have the Bend facing up then that would be the equivalent of the 12 on a clock. If I have the bend facing down like I do that would be the equivalent of 6 on a clock. Sorry for the confusion! In this case I have the bend facing down like it should but the Pink car steers to the right which means the NDFW (Non Touching) wheel will be riding along the rail. On the Blue Car the FDW will be riding along the rail. If the bend is always down like I thought then should the FDW always be on the left side? It seems to me the car would always steer to the right based on what I am seeing but I could quite possibly doing something incorrectly.
