1st-We are having to push the event back 1 week to the 23rd due to work conflicts.
FEBRUARY RACE IS ON THE 23RD- IT IS A DOUBLE POINTS RACE
2nd- Everybody needs to check the length of your cars. I have built a length checker that the car must sit in to pass to race. It will sit on the scale so we can check weight and length in one shot. Intentional or unintentional there were many cars that would not have passed and this month they will have to be DQ'd if they don't comply.
3rd- Rule changes to Street Rod- The car must go FORWARD not set up to run in reverse. (Very creative by the way) Also the 4th wheel must not be attached in a way that it will lift during the race. It should be touching no matter where it sits on the axle. (Even more creative by the way!) Yet another, all spoilers need to be attached to the cars except for the front spoiler on the Camaro. Also grills, lights, bumpers and such. You don't have to put the mirrors on because they will probably not make the trip.
I love the creativity but remember the spirit of the Street Rod class. This might end up being the best class!
4th- Remember your lowest point score will be dropped so nobody is out of the series race. FEBRUARY WILL BE A DOUBLE POINTS MONTH ALSO!!! March will be single points and then the final in APril will be TRIPLE POINTS!!! Nobody is out of it until the fat lady sings! Get the cars in and enjoy the racing!
