Feedback on MA Build.

Oops! Sorry I should've clarified. This is just a practice block. I was experimenting drilling holes and cutting the body shape. I just put the wheels in reverse to show my son what the finished car will look like. The front backwards wheel is the NDFW. (I didn't realize I forgot to drill a DFW hole until after I wrapped the car. Which brings up another question. Is the NDFW reversed or not? It seems like it'd be slightly more aerodynamic to not be reversed, but I've seen some pics of reversed NDFW wheels with a sticker over it.

For MA's you can't have a wheel cover like the picture. They need to see the inside lettering.

I am in the same boat as you on whether it is better to have it on way or another. Hoping to see an answer from an experienced Sp or MA builder.

My thoughts are if reversed you have to pay attention to where the wheel face lettering is. If to NDFW has a rail hit it seems like the raised letters would create more friction.

You could use clear tape?

Update on the build: our parts came and we've cut the weight pockets, cut the profile, and put on the top Monokote. While cutting the weight pockets a chunk of pine by the axles broke. It's visible in the pic. The axle fits and feels solid. Should I epoxy and redrill or not worry about it?

It's just about ready to send in. We don't have a track, but we tuned it on my tuning board for 5" over 4'. I calculate the COM as being 0.6". We put 2 washers and a spacer on the rears and 1 washer on the FDW. Any last thoughts or changes before we send it? Thanks!

Sometimes its just fun to race it, even if you know it could be better. There's always something you can learn...

That foam looks really close to the wheels all around. I would give them more room if you're mailing them. I go a half inch in all directions (including underneath and to the top foam block) and I still had a wheel knocked out once.
