I tried to make fenders last year and had no luck so I am trying one more time. I have attached my fenders to the car but it looks like the bottom of the fender will hit the rail. I don't have a track to test it on. I think I am doing something wrong. For those that make fenders how do you keep the bottom inside of the fender from hitting the rail? Thanks for any input

You have to cut out the bottom of the fenders so they don't hit the rail. Hold the fender up where you want it with the wheel in place... draw one line down the length of the fender outside of the inner edge of the wheel and another line where the bottom of the body meets the fender. Cut out this chunk of the fender and glue the fender on the car.
That will work too... Really with good alignment (drilled with the Silver Bullet), railrunning and a half way decent track you rear fenders shouldn't hit the rail anyway.
If you're new to fenders, you could use double sided tape to attach the fender to the body. The tape will give you a safety gap until you're more familiar and confident with fenders. They make the tape in different thickness.
