I am doing rear fenders on my Lions Den car for Pinewood this year because it looks cool and maybe add .002 to my time. Question is does anyone have a picture of the bottom of the car and fenders, Why I ask is do you sand the bottom iner fender to match the inside of the wheel when it is out to the head of the axle? So the wheel will hit the track guide not the fender. Or just have is straight down the side of the car? Thanks

Dude! Have you been out of the country for awhile?

If I was you I would cut a scrap of wood 1 5/8" x 1/4" to match the rails of the track. I would then attach that to my tuning board or just a nice flat board. Noe you can insure your fenders wont hit the rails before the wheels do by test rolling with junk wheels. It'll help you set up the car as well to try and center the rears while rail surfing.

Hey Bulldog, speaking of fenders, I have another idea. You don't need a wind tunnel to test out fender designs. Just set up a track and fill up the room with stoners. Make sure they are well supplied. You will be able to see the air movement better as the smoke gets thicker!

Just make sure you use a camera because you might not remember the results.
