This will be the first time I get to tune on a track. The drift is 3" over 4', what do you guys look for the first time down the track? For example if the car doesn't wiggle, do you leave the steering alone? Would you move your weight around? Is there anything else I should be looking for?

Do you play with one thing at a time? Play with the drift to get the best time? Then wheel gaps to see if you can gain more speed and so on?

+1 "Adjusting" more than 1 thing at the time will only leave you guessing as to what worked or didn't work.

Definitely one thing at a time or you may not know what the car really needs.
