Found my old scout car

Found my old car from when I was a Weblos. I think that was around '93-'95. I remember I reshaped the front between the pack and district race. I believe I got 3rd at pack and didn't make the podium at districts.



I think I would prefer these old wheel hub to the new ones. May be heavier wheels though.


I also found my CO2 car from a few years later in middle school.

I remember the CO2 car from 7th or 8th grade. That was fun.
I remember a buddy of mine built one that I really liked. I ended up trading him some BMX parts for it. Just last year he was over to my house and I gave it back to him. Should have seen the look on his face after not seeing it for 30 years...lol

Those CO2 powered cars are a blast literally....

Someone was trying to make one for our outlaw race a few months ago...but he couldn't finish it in time....couldn't quite get the mechanism to fire or puncture the cartridge when the starting pin dropped, short of someone standing there doing it manually and our rules don't allow anyone to manipulate the cars once turned in, even outlaws...
