Zigzag and rat pack cars were staged in the incorrect lanes.

That said, I would like to thank rat pack for momentarily making me think I had improved from the prior race /images/boards/smilies/smile.gif

No big deal, I was just stumped as to the big drop between the first and second round. I am just happy as hell I ran as well as I did in my first race!

Check your DFW. A couple of people had it running on the top of the rail, not the bottom. They're faster running the bottom. I'm not sure if you were one of them.

The DFW should be canted just the opposite of the rear wheels. The rear wheels run on the inside edge of the wheel. The DFW should run on the outside edge of the wheel. There were a couple of cars that had the DFW canted the same as the rear wheels. (running on the inside edge of the wheel)

I think I'm good on the dfw. In order for the dfw to run on the inside edge I believe the bent axle would have to point up instead of down. Correct me if I am wrong.

Kinser, thanks for the suggestion, keep them coming. I need all the help I can get, put everything I read on here into that car.

Hey RTF,

Your DFW needs to point down and turned slightly forward to get your turn toward the rail.

you rear axles need to be drilled so they cant up... most people choose 3 degree cant.

Not everyone is the same on the rear cant, but the fast ones here all run with the front wheel down.

the visual they usually give is this... when looking at the front of the cars, this is how it goes

Rear = /------ Front = ------| (for a right dominant DFW)

Great, I'm good then, mine is set up correctly. The axle bend pointing down is the only way I've seen it done on here, didn't think anyone would do it backwards.

Good visual explanation.

Thanks Paul.....

Not that it worked out worth a flip for me out there this weekend.
