There are some big changes coming for the NPWDRL!! John has graciously sold me the League, and after the finals I will take possession of it. I hadn't planned on announcing it till after the finals but word has leaked out and I'm starting to get PM's, so to put down any rumors, here you go.

I feel that in order to blow the league racing scene up and get maximum participation from racers, and growth for vendors and suppliers it needs to be a non vendor/supplier specific racing venue, and that is what the NPWDRL is going to be. I have sponsorship letters going out shortly to all that I can think of, if you know someone that you think would be a good sponsor please PM me. They do not have to be Pinewood derby related. I have already lined up 3 that aren't. There is still a ton that needs to be done. Switch over domains, accounts and so forth is very time consuming. The core classes will remain the same, no rule changes. I'm going to put out a class for the first time racer, called Box Stock. More on that later. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns you can post here, PM me, or email me at [email protected]

Thanks guys I will try to keep you update as much as possible.

Congrats QT for acquiring NPWDRL and keep the show running could not have been in more capable hands.

John big thank you to you for creating NPWDRL and providing an excellent venue to race. We (racers) appreciate all the hard work that you have been doing for the past few years to keep the show running particularly on the road - Nationals, etc.

John - does this mean we'll get our orders filled faster in 2016!!

This is big news!

Congrats Joel, I know you will pour your heart into it just like John did.

John, thanks for all of your hard work and dedication

Hey Q.T Congrats man! John, Thank you for the league ant the fun! Q.T are you going to acquire the track? Races in St.George? How much are you asking sponsors for? will the fee still be 10? Thanks for keeping it alive!

Not yours now...

Joel will do a great job keeping this rolling. I am resetting back in NC and will have a whole new arsenal coming. The hardest year I could have dreamed of is almost over and I made it out. 2016 will mark a hard turn up and things will be restored to order. I already have a lot of new ideas flowing again.

The NPWDRL set new standards for league racing. Before it was created, seeing a 100 cars at a monthly race was like a dream. For awhile we were averaging 230 cars per month. It takes a large amount of work to run a league especially with those kinds of numbers. Joel is a fair and honest guy and will continue to give a truly fair racing venue with top notch quality.

I will see you guys at Nationals. I will still be working with Greg to bring the monster event of the year to the heart of the country!

Thank you to the guys that helped me through this year and to those that kicked me while I was down well... you know.

To the NC guys ready to make some noise again, let's get in touch! Time to retake the crown of the fastest pinewood derby racers in the USA!

Good luck Joel! I think this move will greatly benefit both DD4H and the NPWDRL.
I'm looking forward to 2016 and watching this thing flourish.

In the words of Frank Barone............"Holy Crap!"

Congrats to Joel ! And you thought you were busy before !!

Does this mean that the Redfearn household is getting that addition to hold the track ???

All the best to you and your family in the move back to NC John ! Guess we have to watch out for your cars again now !

I feel that decoupling the league from a vendor is a good direction to take. I applaud this decision.

Does this mean that DD4H is going to be actively racing again?

Thanks John for all you've done to create a top notch racing experience. The quality of the track, the camera work, the live feed, the videos, and the treatment of proxy racers - all set the standard.

Best of luck QT in this exciting new venture! As before with John, I'll keep providing my feedback to you and the league ... whether you want it or not.

John thank you for all you have done getting the NPWDRL going. It was a large undertaking and you made it happen and we see the results everyday with this forum and the quality of our races. QT, I'm sure will do a great job and NPWDRL is going to be in good hands. John, once again thanks for all you have done and I look forward to your new products. Hope to see you at Mid-America my friend.

Ya'll, Damn Kinser and I thought you were from up North somewhere.

Haha! My grandaddy was born and raised in Arkasas. You can take the boy outta the south but you can't take the south outta the boy. I don't have a southern accent to speak of but if I get around people who do, I pick it up in about two minutes or less.
