When you are adding your Gee Fenders do you add some wood so the outside of the fender is inline with the outside of the wheel? Or do you just glue them on and call it good?

I put metal tape on the fender and then glue it to the body for easier removal when needed. Someone else came up with that. It works good.

If your front fenders don't lay at the same angle as the wheels once the steer is set, I would angle the body or add spacers until they do. Otherwise I think you are adding to the frontal area of the racer. It looked to me like the GEE fenders had a built in angle of 3 degrees to match the rear cant.

Hi when adding the Gee fenders to a cub scout car our rules state as follows The distance from the bottom of the whee to the bottom of the car must be no less than 3/8 in in order to clear track runners the 3/8 in clearance also applies to any weights and or attachments on the bottom of the car does this mean the fenders cant be ran or do i need to do something else any info would be great boys derby is this weekend
