Is this the way they fit? They don't cover whole tire is this normal? Don't worry wheel and axle are for looks. Just for picture! They have a small tit or mold mark on the inside is that for mounting to car or cut that off? A lot of questions but never used these before. Thanks guys in advance.

Hey Speed Bump, It only deflects the air so doesn't need to cover the whole wheel. Secondly, the mold piece your speaking of that sticks out, it so when you glue it on it won't rub the track as the car starts to ride the rail going down. You would have to sand wood fenders to get the same effect, this just makes for certain that your fenders don't rub and slow you down. Hope that helps. If I get time I will post a pick or someone will

Couple of questions for you. Does that wheel have the inner hub reconed? If not, that could be why it appears to "stick out too far". I believe mine are close to what you have pictured, they do not shroud the entire wheel.
Do you have the axle at a 3 degree cant? I have one car that runs 3 degrees and the angle of the fender matched the angle of the rear wheels spot on. I have one car canted 3.5 degrees and I needed to mod the body a bit to have the rear fender attach at the proper angle. (you want the fender exactly the same angle as the wheel IMO). If you install them up front you may need to angle cut that edge of the body to align them.

I smoothed the fender where it attached to the body with a sanding block so I could get a good bond.

the wheels are 1 gram wheels with cone inner hubs. Just seems a lot of the wheel is sticking out. Even with VERY close gaps. There is no difference in the fenders far as fronts and rears? Does not seam to b.

Front and rear fenders are the same, but there is a left and right and I'm sure that has already been figured out. As far as the "mold mark" I take an Exacto knife and trim the riser/stem, or whatever it's called, off. You can always sand it too, like BR has suggested. Anyways, smooth the surface before applying to the body, the smoother surface makes a better adhesion point.

THANKS 5 kids and guys for the info. and pictures. I took off that mold mark and sanded them to make it adhere good. Thanks again guys!! searching for that little bit more speed. Not there yet but still looking for it. I will post a picture of the car when finished. Race is next weekend.
