Yep. The gee fender has a nice shape to it.

I tried drawing it in a 3D program and printing it but I did not catch the finesse.

This project may take some time.

Your picture shows the rear fender narrower than the wheel. Seems it would be better to shield the entire width of the wheel with the fender. Why so narrow?

Their is a previous post buried somewhere, DD4H mentions that covering the entire wheel with GEE fenders slows you down.

Hi fellas,

Thanks

This one is going to be an SS

No time to test it yet but I feel pretty good about it.

Here is another photo of it. I still need to do a few things to it before putting on the wheels.

I could not resist the temptation to make it a 45* raised wheel.

Now that looks sweet!! is that NDFW legal? looks cool!

Hey Joe, can your laser only cut 1/4" at a time? Is that why I see the strips? Also Can your Laser cut at deferent angles?

Thanks

Hi Iceman,

Thanks

Yeah. It can cut a bit thicker but it loses some accuracy due to a draft on the parts.

Also wood tends to light up when going thicker.

I have used the laser on rare occasions to make angled cuts.

It requires a jig of sorts to do.

Hey Joe, it's probably an optical illusion but is that car legal width? I know people run angled NDFWs all the time but it looks very wide. Fenders look very good, your building skills are impressive.

Hi Mo,

It does look wide in the photo, but it is an illusion. (I just double checked to make sure).

I still have about 1/16" left before maxing out the width.

The other fellas may put their wheel more on top of their cars to keep it narrower, but I wanted to focus on keeping the height low.

Thanks
Joe

Nice!!

Looking good Joe.

Thanks John,

Thanks LB,

I hope to get this one on the 63' track.

With my prep I may be lucky to cross the finish.
