Well I finally got off my butt tonight. I just routed four bodies to start my marathon builds for the CFC. I got side tracked with a project for work Saturday. So after a full day with family events I cleaned my work area and started the fun. I should have them completed by tomorrow. No paint or fenders, I'm rolling like it is 2009....LOL. I will post a pic as soon as they look like cars. Can anyone say 5 hour energy drink!

Final assembly is tonight, they look like they were built in 3 days . No matter how bad they turn out, I will be on the track in all events. I will post a pic of the dirty bunch tonight. The only disaster I had was destroying my Street Stock during the body shaping process. So I'm going to run my test car Ole 97. Which has a hole in the top that I covered with tape. If you see a fleet that looks like the Bad News Bears rolled into town....that will be the Reso Bunch.

For those of you who run all classes each month and especially to the 11' MOTM crew my hats off to you!

Reso,
I've been there and done that a bunch of times last year. Fortunately, after MOTM, I have a decent set of cars to work with, and now I am working on trying to throw one test car in each month to see if I can improve. I threw together a new Unlimited last night, and will be assembling it tonight along with final prep on my other cars. This one should be interesting, since it won't have more than 2 total hours invested, but will actually have a "finished" look. All my other entries are naked wood at this point.

Good to see you back on the track in all classes!

Good Luck Saturday...remember that they don't need to look good to run fast!

Oh yes now the fun begins, tuning 4 cars a month! Lucky once you get a solid base the rest is prep. And we know your about as solid as they get so take your sweet time getting the prep thing completely figured out.

Thanks O.R.

Saturday will be my first race outside of Street Stock and Street Rod, so I'm kind of excited.

What's really amazing to me is the sheer number of builders throwing down in the Unlimited Class. This month ought to be VERY interesting. Last month, I think the separation between 1st and 15th place was only .0097
eeek

This month, I expect some breakaways...but it's a different track, so things can change, but it's still going to be a great race.

The unlimited class has blown up! I must say that I was a bit intimidated to build a bearing car. After I assembled it and ran it down the track I was hooked. The wheels are turning on how to improve my next one.
