Getting back into racing

lol, I hear ya kinser. I've watched alot of videos on youtube and I see how far it all has come over the years. Looks like everyone has stepped their game up. It will be good to be at a level where there are other cars that can beat you. It all started with us in a church group call the R.A.'s. We started local, then raced statewide. Won about four years in a row out of the Texas wide races. Thousands of cars there every year. I raced scouts, other leagues. Just plain never beat. Back then my flat cars with longer wheel base and waffer wheels were considered weird and ugly. They got the job done though. Me and my kid are just going to see how we can do these days. Look forward to racing some of yall in the future.

Right on man! I'm looking forward to it. Good luck and ask us any questions.

Be sure to check the rules out. There are 6 classes with different rules. You mentioned wafer wheels.
Only 2 classes allow them. In fact each class has different wheel rules.

If you want a real exciting challenge, pick any class, pick out one of the builders in the finals of that class, and challenge him to a "pink slip" race. Most of them will probably accept the challenge.

In fact I will, and I only had one car in in the August finals of one of the classes. Pick any class and run against the car I have in that class. My cars have already been sent in for the September race. To go against me, you would be running against someone that usually finishes between 6th and 12th.
