Hey All, I looked around the forum, I thought for sure this had been answered once before. I couldn't find anything so I thought I would ask I got 2 cheetah wheels that I just noticed have some really bad scratches on the inside. What is the best way to buffet out these scratches to get the bore smooth again. Any suggestions?

Lots of time with a Qtip stalk and the # 1 bore polish. Sometimes if the scratches are bad enough I use some 3m rubbing compound. Don't use any type of high speed on the drill, and be careful on how much you do, you don't want to open the bore up to much.

That's a good question. I found a friend local with his kids out of scouts that ha a junk worx arbor to spin wheels. so I proceded with an old wheel and messed around for a while. I mounted and unmounted several times which I'm sure didn't help but as some of you already know -OK- I knew also, I just wanted to try- roached the bore. Started with step one polish. didn't quite cut it. long story short I won't be using that on purpose. I'd be better off with the stock wheels.

Ya I know, Just buy some good ones.
